Wow! This was quite an emotional and angsty read. It went in a direction I never saw coming. While role of the switch in storyline might be something I would normally stay away from when choosing a book, I accept to admit Ms. Sullivan did an excellent job maneuvering her characters into place.

Wow! This was quite an emotional and angsty read. Information technology went in a management I never saw coming. While part of the switch in storyline might be something I would ordinarily stay away from when choosing a book, I have to acknowledge Ms. Sullivan did an excellent job maneuvering her characters into place.

The showtime one-half kind of collection me crazy. There was so much push and pull which can exist exhausting, only it'due south easier to accept when the motivations are strong. I didn't feel that that was the instance in John and Tuesday's initial human relationship. The reasons for it just didn't seem to be potent enough and often times inside mere moments this couple were pushing when they had just been pulling and it was on both their parts. I nearly gave up on them because they were really starting to annoy me.

Nonetheless, one time I passed the fifty percent mark, this story took off and I couldn't exist happier about the fact that I stuck it out. While I never really connected with Tuesday, I became deeply invested in John. And when he has his epiphany I was in tears.

This was well written and overall I enjoyed it and will definitely be checking out more from this author.

I'm not even kidding. You're going to go through all those emotions reading this volume. It's And so expert. And you're non going to believe that twist! Holy cow! Talk near a cliche breaker.

Tuesday and John are then sugariness and funny together. And then heartbreaking. They're one of those couples you lot're going to root for from folio i (okay...maybe page 10).

My Just complaint, & the reason I'thou taking half a star, is that John didn't go more than page fourth dimension.

Their meet cute was fun and their instant switch from flirtatious glances to arguing was interesting to read. It wasn't what I was expecting after reading almost her one night stand up, I figured they would permit the attraction win out. But it made it all the more interesting later on on. You got to meet them unfold more earlier they let the physical attraction accept over. Made it more relatable rather than the insta beloved. I liked Tuesday's bulldoze to be an entrepreneur and she was a person all her own. Her background didn't define her but molded her to make her a unique grapheme. I was not expecting the plow and was happy with the overall plot and gained more respect for each of the characters throughout. I liked how John's graphic symbol played out more than than I would have thought (if I were to know in the beginning). Information technology was an important and impactful message.

Tuesday is as unique equally her proper name. Raised past a hippie mother, she is surprisingly interested in being more than grounded and is determined and ready to pursue her dream of a brick and mortar store.
She's sunk all of her savings into this and is stressed beyond belief. Later on a one night stand sneaks out of her place, she's reminded one time once again why she doesn't pursue those types of relationships. And then coming together John, a hottie bartender, was a great thought for a second only non something she was interested in across looking.
Simply when John turns out to not really be a bartender, only the head contractor who is in charge of making her dream shop a reality, he becomes a lot harder to resist. There is obvious allure, even though they are pretty much opposites.
After seeing Tuesday at her most vulnerable, John's uncomplicated attraction becomes more. As they both stop fighting each other, they realize they accept potential to be a lot more. They fell hard and fast. Nevertheless, in club to accept a future together, they have to face up the past that's threatening to interfere. John has some demons in his that he never addressed. All while Tuesday'southward choices are coming back and shaking her whole globe and program upside downward.

A purist at heart she has created her own line of creams and lotions, lip balms and soaps. She is now putting it all together into a space that houses a store in the front and a production area in the back so that she can fullfill orders and brand new supply.
John Eaton was abused equally a very young boy. He spent a short corporeality of time in a foster home earlier beingness rescued by the Eaton family unit who his father concluded up giving the rights to adopt him. Raised with iii big sisters John loved his family but never saw himself every bit a "relationship" human. Helping out at his Uncle Dom's bar ane night he sees this woman with masses of wild pilus and he deceit help but stare. There is a pull there and he doesnt understand information technology.
Jake Johnson is the possessor of the structure company that Tuesday hired to do the piece of work on her store. Jake and his wife are expecting a baby and she was put on bed rest and so Jake is taking some time off to stay with her and has assigned John the task of managing the piece of work on Tuesdays store.
After their encounter at the bar Tuesday isnt sure information technology is such a good thought and is furious. John tracks her down and explains things and gets her to concur to let him do the piece of work. Now she is having to deal with him every day. But will they be able to deny the allure? Can they do this without giving in to their desires?
Merely as things are getting serious a bomb hits and nearly destroys everything. NO SPOILERS. I am going to stop here. It was a corking book. Brought tears to my eyes in few places. It was well written and the characters were formed fabulously.

Waiting For Tuesday by Taylor Sullivan is the story of a adult female named Tuesday who is more hippie than chic and loves to wear a good pair of overalls while mixing her ain soaps and lotions. John is a contractor by trade who is a knight in shining armor, nurturer, a protector, a expert friend and a soul with a past he ignores. He was raised past a loving, kind family and knows what he wants out of life or does he?
And so there is Tuesday'south friend Becky. She really might be the "Becky with the good hair" Becky. She's the best friend, the confidant, the i who will see Tuesday through thick and thin and yet be honest near everything.
Here is one of my favorite exchanges between Becky and Tuesday:
"Exactly", Becky uttered. "And who cares if you're a slut anyway? There are lots of perfectly happy sluts in the world. Information technology could exist fun"? ... "Like who?" "Umm, Joey Tribiani. Total Slut…All the women on Sexual activity and the City, Mrs. Roper. Blanche Deveraux,"… "Are you comparing me to one of the little old ladies from The Golden Girls?" Hehehe, I adore Becky!
John and Tuesday encounter while he is bartending at a friend's bar, then it turns out he is doing structure on her new business and sparks wing. John doesn't practice relationships and Tuesday has only had a one night stand in the last xiii months (year and a half according to Becky who may not exist good at math). Their human relationship is sweetness and funny and steamy and scenic and heartbreaking and pitiful and everything in between.
I was a footling nervous at the cease because I only had nearly v% left to read and wasn't sure the story was going to resolve itself. But it did, perfectly.
This is a standalone book and is NOT a cliffhanger (thank goodness, not sure my eye could have taken information technology). Is information technology too much to promise that Becky will take her own story soon?

Yet John's past is just as total of questions and empty promises as Tuesday's. I loved this volume. Ms. Sullivan's writing and descriptions were completely engrossing and I was pulled in from page ane. Reading it pulled me right into the pages and lives of Tuesday and John as the story played out. I was totally caught off baby-sit past what the surreptitious was, and how it played out. It was a twist that I wasn't expecting at all. However, it added and so much growth and depth to the story, that it made the catastrophe that much sweeter. My merely reason for giving this book 4 stars, instead of 5, is because I felt like I needed to know more than well-nigh Tuesday, how she resolved some of the problems with her past. I could see all of the facets and depth in John's graphic symbol, simply I didn't get that completely rounded feeling from Tuesday's character. That being said, this was still one of the all-time contemporary romances that I've read this year. Two thumbs upwardly! I definitely need to go choice upwardly book one of this series, and can't await for book three!

It was fine... What tin can I say?

Let'south offset with the good things:
The characters are absurd. They are distinguishable, are capable of the readers dear and agreement, have their reasoning, and full of flaws.

John is lovable, though when I understood who he is in relation to the first volume in the series I was surprised he could be charming without the horny side result. He was cool.

Permit'southward start with the proficient things:

Tuesday was fine, too. She was bubbly, vibrant, sweet... I could emphasize with her... Until the big reveal.

The side characters were fine, weren't really worth mentioning because they are similar ghosts in this story, not really there. Lisa, John'due south sister, for example, is in that location only to enhance the plot when dumping an irrelevant information.

The reminders to the kickoff volume were cute and fun.

John and Tuesday'south human relationship was really fun to read about.

The writing is proficient.

Less good:
The merely obstacles are created by not communicating and getting too 'in their on heads'. They show these characters as being and so wonderful, and so the problems are virtually communication, after the fact that along the book until some points they are very honest and open up about so many things that make others uncomfortable maxim. And then why now?

It was very irksome, and I felt as though information technology did not have so much meet every bit a love story. We don't really know our characters at all, and some of their connection was defective because of information technology.

The reveal was kind of pitiful for me. She did her best to make a expert ending, and I understood she wanted something new to spice her volume, but it didn't work for me.

It hadn't wowed me. In all aspects. It took me and so long to read it, information technology isn't a good sign. In the other paw, I didn't put information technology down for a while for me to residue from information technology, and this is pretty good.

If you know the genre and want another one to read - take it.

I call up part of it is that the characters seem to over-complicate things and I'm just not buying it. The 2nd is that they went from hating each other to being totally in animalism in a few pages - it's this progression that'south the best part, I don't want it done that fast! The book likewise seem to skip out on what is happening and instead described that suddenly they flirted a lot, but we never witness it... But to the very finish (minus still not knowing what the hell was wrong with Em, and that bugs the shit out of me) this book was written beautifully. John'south epiphany at the finish had me in tears. I would recommend this volume as a stand alone, but I do think reading "Habitation To You" will assistance yous appreciate John fifty-fifty more.

An excellent second book in the Suspicious Hearts series! The characters were fantastic, they had a lot of depth and grapheme and were very likeable and relatable. The plot was well executed and the twist on the standard employee-to-lover theme was unexpected but I enjoyed it very much.

I would love to come across further books in the series be written merely I can't come across anything on the Authors page that suggests there are more to come. So I beg of Taylor Sullivan, please, please give us Em'due south story, I hav

How can i draw the book?
Information technology was okay.
It's a quick read. But i just didn't liked Tuesday, her whole character made me then uncomfortable.. the beginning of the book was really squeamish, just subsequently that information technology but goes downwardly.

Only John was a nice character, particularly when he meets his Dad i really did loved that scene.

Overall it's a quick read merely nothing special.

This started great, with characters that demanded your attention and left you curious, but it was just not my thing past the middle of it. The whole "we both have male parent issues" didn't work for me and I think information technology didn't do annihilation for the story, just gave the main couple a push to be together. Information technology was just an OK book.
